Dominic in the Hospital
On May 28, 2008, Bill and Deanna (Rossi) Steinhauser, local residents of Frankfort, welcomed their second child, a beautiful baby boy named Dominic. The day he was born he was unexpectedly diagnosed with CHARGE Syndrome. That is when the roller coaster ride began for this loving family. Dominic is now 2 1/2 years old and brings many challenges, many joys, and many expenses.
CHARGE Syndrome is a genetic pattern of birth defects which occurs in one of every 9-10,000 births worldwide. The medical and physical difficulties vary from child to child, but Dominic suffers from vision and hearing impairment, inability to swallow, (24-Hour a day feeding tube) and he wears a monitoring device to check his oxygen and heart rate. Dominic and his family rely on over 10 specialists at Children's Memorial Hospital.

As you can imagine this has been tremendously difficult for a young-loving family, especially the continued medical costs that incur as Dominic gets older. This is why the Steinhauser and Rossi families and friends of Bill and Deanna need your help!
So, we are hosting a fundraiser with a delicious buffet, open bar (Beer, Wine, Pop), DJ, and fun activities for adults and children are all part of the ticket price. A silent auction and grand raffle will also be available. All donations will benefit the Do It For Dominic Foundation. Dominic's First Thanksgiving not sick!!!
On Sunday, February 20, 2011 we will hold the Second "DO IT FOR DOMINIC and his friends with CHARGE" fundraiser and benefit at 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park, Illinois from 3-8 p.m. Tickets are $30 for adults, $10 for kids 6-12 children 5 and under are free.
